First Day of Kindergarten | |

I've been waiting for this day for a very long time. It's the first day of school. And I had a fantastic day. My teacher took a few pictures of me. These first two are in the cafeteria before school. We waited there until it was time to go to our kindergarten room and start learning.  After waiting and talking and coloring for a while, our teacher took us to our new kindergarten room. I knew right where my room was because I remembered from Open House on Monday. And all of my school supplies were still there waiting for me.    I had so much fun meeting my new friends and learning. We talked about our gingerbread men that we made at Open House. He went missing, but he left clues for us all over the school. So we explored the school looking for him. We also went to the library and I checked out my very first school book. I'm going to have mom read it to me and Skyler tonight before we go to bed. I had so much fun today. I told mom that my class is the best kindergarten class. Skyler disagreed, but I know it's true. I can't wait to go back tomorrow. |
